PIR Social Publisher Privacy Policy

Pastors in Recovery · Menu

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This policy covers PIR Social Publisher, a social publishing application operated by Jon Hammond for Pastors in Recovery. It covers the publishing application, rather than all features of the Pastors in Recovery website. The application is intended for authorized administrators managing Pastors in Recovery social accounts.

Information processed

When an administrator connects a Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube account, the application may process the basic profile information provided during authorization, identifiers and names of the Pages, professional accounts, or channels the administrator manages, authorization tokens, and the permissions granted. It stores content and media prepared for publication, scheduled dates, publication identifiers and links, and operational records needed to track successful or failed publication. Where enabled and authorized, it may retrieve account, channel, engagement, and performance information. YouTube connections use YouTube API Services.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate authorized administrators, connect the correct account or channel, prepare and publish approved content, manage the posting calendar, verify publication, and investigate errors. The application does not require your Facebook, Instagram, or Google password to be entered into Postiz. Platform authorization takes place through Meta or Google.

Storage and sharing

The publishing system uses self-hosted Postiz on the operator’s server. Authorized administrators can access application records. Content and necessary identifiers are transmitted to the connected platform, including Meta or Google/YouTube, to perform authorized publishing and related operations. Infrastructure providers used for hosting, backups, or network delivery may process information necessary to provide those services. Meta and Google process information under their own policies; see the Google Privacy Policy. We do not sell information obtained through this application or use it for unrelated advertising.

Retention and security

Records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate the publishing workflow, maintain publication history, resolve errors, or meet applicable obligations. Access to credentials and application records is restricted to authorized operators. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and deletion requests

You may revoke the application’s permissions through the connected platform’s account settings. For Google/YouTube, you can revoke authorization through your Google Account connections settings. Revoking access does not by itself delete all records already stored by the application. To request deletion of application-held information, email [email protected] with the subject PIR Social Publisher data deletion. Identify the affected account, Page, or channel without sending passwords or access tokens. We may verify your authority before processing the request and will respond with the outcome or any information needed to complete it.

Deletion from the application does not automatically remove posts or videos already published on a connected social platform. Backup copies may remain until their normal retention period ends; if restored, applicable deletion requests must be reapplied.

Contact and updates

Questions about this policy may be sent to [email protected]. This page will be updated if the application’s data practices change.
